Things that make me smile

In the past few day several stories have made me smile so I am sharing them with you in hopes they will do the same.

STORY #1
I have a friend who we will call J . J went to the tanning bed and decided that since she was hot and sweaty she would not put her pantie hose back on after tanning. This left her with a dark navy knee length skirt on and no undergarments. She left the tanning place went to put gas in her car . While taking off the gas cap accidentally dropped it and bent down to pick it up she also dropped her car keys and bent over to pick them too. During which time she noticed the old couple standing behind her looking intently at her to which she assumed was because they were waiting for the gas pump. she smiled and waved and thought nothing more about it. She then went to the school to pick up her girls from day care. One of her girls dropped a paper on the floor she bent over to pick up the pare when the day care director ran up behind her and zipped up the sipper on her skirt. She then realized that the zipper was open ever since she left the tanning beds. This zipper was the kind that went half the length of the back. She then realized she had given the old couple and the day care workers something to talk about later. That made me and apparently several others smile.

STORY #2
Golden boy decided it would be a good idea to play a little trick on me. He has a set of walkie talkies that we used when he was installing a second tivo in our bedroom the other day. They have been out ever since. Well last night I was working intently on our home computer the kids were playing in another room and really for a change all was quiet in the house. I suddenly heard a loud HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING !!!! come out of the desk I was sitting at. I pushed back my chair and jumped up only to see GB standing in the kitchen laughing hysterically. He had planted one walkie talking behind the computer and was gleefully holding the other one. He was very proud of himself. Then as the night drug on and i finished ironing at about 10:35 we decided to go to bed. I got ready had just laid down and began to relax. When out of my pillow I hear a loud siren like ringing to which I jump up say something I cannot type and find GB in the bathroom again laughing hysterically. His motive he claims was to make me smile and to remind me how boring my life would be without him. Now looking back I agree life would be ever so dull without him. That makes me smile.

STORY #3

The unique one has this thing where she told me that all her tickle sugar spots like under her chin and in her armpit has turtles that live in them. That way if I want to kiss or tickle her I have to deal with the turtles. Well today turtles were not good enough so she told me that they were magic turtles that turned into snakes. Nice snakes she said. Well because Golden boy could not have any of the sugar spots either he decided he would tell her about all the kinds of animals he could over come to get to the elusive sugars. He named a few common ones then began to make up his own like doodlebees and Ginkelsnorks. She had an answer to each animal he named and why we could not get to the sugars. I now see where see gets her active imagination. I am glad to have people in my life that make me smile on a regular basis and for all the ginklesnork fans out there may you have a ginklefun day.
