Paradox

Here is the paradox in the Unique one.
In the last blog I called her a true princess but here you see her petting a lizard without fear. If you cannot we all went to the zoo today it was Golden Boys company day.
She spent today watching snakes eat mice. For real (if you are squeamish
do not read any further) The mouses hand hanging out of the snakes
mouth twitching and she was glued to it. She wants to see all the
snakes in the zoo not afraid of any of them,
pet a spider and watch them feed raw horse and cow to a tiger. She even
does
not care if she is really dirty. She played each of the games offered
today with surprising ease like shooting ducks with a water gun with
unrealpercison. Throwing a football through a small
hole easier than the thinker or her brother and wanting a snake on her
arm as her face paint like the boys rather than a heart or butterfly
like the girls. She talks of playing "star wars" with the boys at
school as princess leaha.
And when I asked her if the other girls played she laughed and said of
course not they don't even know what star wars is and they don't
want to get dirty. I love that children can be truly honest in what
they like and even if it is completely opposite they see no reason to
put on a mask to hide who they really are. So my point is the unique
one really lives up to her name and I love that.

Okay, so I can handle most things...but the way you wrote about mouse heads and snake mouths really kinda freaked me out. The part about the twitching was also a little hard to take. I'm just sayin.

Having said that, the Unique One is something else. I am wondering if you will EVER figure her out. Of course, that is also one of the cool things about her...you never know what you're gonna get. She is an absolute blessing!!!
