The Amputee

Ok for those of you who don't know it we have a new dog. She is a a mini schnauzer and she is something of well a "brat". She is sweet and is really no trouble. She rarely barks, does not beg at the table, is crate trained and at night loves to cuddle but..... When I got in the shower today she decided to take it on herself to go find one of E's favorite angelcake doll and chew her feet off. My 1st reaction was to beat the dog if I could catch her then great sadness came over me as I envisioned the sad face ??? what to do ??? So I call K and he says throw it away and don't tell her. Which I thought of too but, when I got to the trash I could not so it. she loves that doll would it really matter if it had feet or not? I mean we have a Grandpa who now has not toes could we use it as a lesson??? But will she hate the dog?? Will people who see her playing with he doll think I am sick?? or we are so poor we cannot give her whole toys??? So at the advice of a friend I kept it hidden in the garage and we will see if she asks for it. I will take any suggestions any one has on what to do with the amputee???
