There are so many reasons I love summer. the first of which is that I am finally warm. I hate to be cold. And I love the sunshine!!!! It makes me happy!!! WOW that reminds me of a song by John Denver. I also love to grill out everything. I grill a good bit even in the winter but int he summer everything I can fit on a grill goes any kind of meat & veggies and if I could find a way to make a dessert on it I would. But that is another thing I love about summer Homemade Ice cream. I have made Chocolate ice cream already twice this summer. I need a good banana ice cream recipe with NO raw eggs in it. I don't do the raw eggs thing in ice cream. Weird I know. I also love vacations!!!! we are leaving on one tomorrow. I love sand and surf the smell of suntan lotion and tons of sea shells. I love my tan kids (which came about through 30 sunscreen) and their happy faces as they splash in the pools and ocean water. I love that there is not such a strict schedule and that I can be more fun!! Not such a stickler for time, bed time, getup time, activity time. And on a final note my 1st Born's birthday is in the summer. and yes she turned the BIG 10!!!! So I have to give her a shout out!!! She rocks!!! She is smart funny and loves people and animals with her whole heart. She is a completely loyal friend. Yes I can see where as she gets older this is going to get a lot harder I hope she will talk more to me than ever and remain true to who God made her to be. So that is just a few reasons I love summer!!!
